October 7th, 2023, the rain won’t stop, and it is market day in Edinburgh. I go and buy some salad, apples and mutton pies. The lady who makes the mutton pie thanks me for coming to the market in such bad weather. It is pouring. I saw the weather and my plan was to go to the contemporary art museum, but it’s too far to walk in the rain so I instead go to the Scottish National Gallery, full of gems too. The National Galleries in Edinburgh are free to enter, and you can donate what you can inside, which is pretty cool !
