After the overwhelming visit of the Museum, I get a carrot and coriander soup and toast at the Black Medicine Coffee Co. Excellent! And I walk for 35 min to get to the Royal Botanic Garden. Its further than I thought, but manageable. At the gate before entering you have to walk into a foamy-shoe-disinfecting solution, I’ve never seen that. The gate is pretty impressive too. The Glasshouse section is under renovation, so I couldn’t access it, too bad, next time! The rest of the gardens is really nice though. Loads of rhododendrons, some squirrels, a few Robin Redbreasts, a lot of interesting plants and sections. At 5pm sharp everyone gets gracefully kicked out.
I believe that I have done enough walking, so I decide to head back to the city centre by double decker bus, pretty cool, especially that I have the front seat at the top! And as usual, walking down the famous Victoria Street to reach the hostel.
